I've been recently working with many rescue places that have lied to me and I didn't get the dogs sure to hidden health issues. But all I found at Bergen county humane society was friendliness and genuineness from the very first interaction. I spoke to 4 different people, and each one consistently said the same thing, and were all so very helpful. They truly care about the animal's welfare. I highly recommend!!
